WMIC Error "ClassFactory cannot supply requested class"

Question

Hello all, I'm having problem with WMI. I cannot run wmic.exe from CMD... all wmic commands resulting in this error

Checked the WMI services are running... tried looking up on the internet but found no answer

all my servers running windows 2012 R2 standard and all giving the same behavior

Hi,

Thanks for your posting but it seemed that you need capture some traces like procomon to verify what was going on when failed to run wmic command
Sometimes, there will be something wrong with the specific dll which varies.

You can also test by creating a new account and by clean boot to check if the issue is related to third party application.

Hello , i have the same issue

but in graphical mode seems working...
