Group Policy Testing

I don't know how to test my group policies. I have created an OU called testing. Created a group in the OU called testing. Added the test computer and test user accounts to the group and the OU. I have added the group to the GP that I wish to test. I have also added my computer and user account to the group policy. I have added Authenticated Users with Read permissions (not apply). The policy that I am trying to test is blocking users from adding extensions to Microsoft Edge. Which can be done through the latest ADML / ADMX files. The GPOs are not being pushed to my test machine nor my machine. No matter how many times I do a gpupdate /force. I ran into this while building a different Group Policy I did for pushing reminders about passwords expiring. I had to apply it to Authenticated Users in the Security Filtering for it to work.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Here is my policy:

I would like to add the adm files to the local computer to test if my policy will work since I cannot get it to push from Group Policy. Does anyone know how I can add them to the local computer?
