How to connect Purview to Data lake with out IR ?

is there any other way to connect Purview to Data lake with out self hosted integrated runtime ?

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform.

Yes, you can connect Azure Purview to Azure Cloud Resources like (Azure Blob storage, Data Lake Gen1, Data Lake Gen2) without SHIR.

Note: Self-hosted integration runtime is required to scan the data source on on-premises.

Purview supports the following data stores. Click each data store to learn the supported capabilities and the corresponding configurations in details.

can we connect with Databricks with out SHIR ?

Hello @SyamalaVishnuvajhala-2005,

Unfortunately, you cannot databricks to Azure Purview.

Reason: As it is not supported as the data source in Azure Purview.
