Site Recovery Update to 9.44

Now that the new site recovery appliance is available (version 9.44) what happens to the older vaults with process/config servers and agents that are on version 9.43? Do we have to create new vaults or what happens now?

Hi @TylerSaville-5293,

Nothing will happen to your vaults, they will not be touched, when updating to a new version you should ensure to update all of your servers.

Also note the following:

With every new version 'N' of an Azure Site Recovery component that's released, all versions below 'N-4' are considered to be out of support.

Service updates in Site Recovery

Here's also some more useful links for updating your Site Recovery environment:
- Upgrade the configuration server
- Upgrade a process server

So to get the 9.44 version you have to create a new vault if I understand correctly? I am asking what happens if I leave the current vault (9.43) since it cannot update? I'm I forced to update all of our clients to new vaults now to stay in support? Thank you

No need to create new vaults, simply download and apply the update on all your servers. It is recommended to also keep the agents up-to-date, but it is not a must, things will work also with older agents.
