SharePoint online ecrypted document links

Hello All,

I have encrypted file(doc/excel etc.) links for various documents that are stored in SharePoint online sites. The last part of the URL contains unique encrypted string to identify the associated file, b.w. this links is generated by Microsoft. And, this site has been migrated to a new tenant. Now, I need to find out the file name/full path corresponding to the source encrypted link so that I can map it to the corresponding target link. Is it possible to automate this process as I have thousands of links. Otherwise, if you paste the URL in browser then it pulls the document in browser where you can find the file name but this option is not viable for us. Appreciate your response.

Thanks!

Since the file links which get from "Copy Link" button are encrypted URLs, it will protect files and libraries from viewing and editing by anonymous who doesn’t have any access.

Per my knowledge, we are not able to get the document information directly via the address.

Yeah correct. Microsoft document says that it prevents anonymous access. But, I am just trying to find if there is a anyway to find the filename and full path as we do have permission to the site etc.

Per my knowledge, we are not able to get the file name and full path via the file encrypted address.

Or you could open a service request to get further help.
