get rid of a Blankspace in GPO-Created RegKey

Hey!

I've set a registrykey, specificly "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Printers\PointAndPrint\RestrictDriverInstallationToAdministrators" to disable the recent Printer-nightmare update via GPO (User\settings\windows-settings\registry). The key gets created at the client but just doenst work. I've spendt the last 3 days troubleshooting this and finally found the error.
When i create the key via GPO, it adds a blankspace behind the name.
When i add it via the Reg Add command, it doenst, and it works as intended.
i just dont understand why this blankspace is added in the first place because it isnt in the GPO and i dont know how i get rid of it! someone had seen a similar problem? maybe its a Bug?

Hi there,

I suggest you to install the Update as the severity of the Issues is High , you can try the Below method to disable it

Disable inbound remote printing through Group Policy

You can also configure the settings via Group Policy as follows:

Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates / Printers

Disable the “Allow Print Spooler to accept client connections:” policy to block remote attacks.

You must restart the Print Spooler service for the group policy to take effect.
