Teams webinar attendee video not disabled

I recently conducted my first Teams webinar and during the meeting, one of the participants had their video turned on. When I double-checked the settings, it showed that all attendee audio and video were disabled.

Furthermore, next to the attendee's name it indicated that their audio and video were disabled.

How, then, was their video turned on during the webinar?

Please advise on how to fix this so I can avoid this happening in the future.

Thanks!

@SabrinaS-5530,

Does only one participant have this problem?

If so, he can try to disable and re-enable video device in Device Manager. Then, restart Teams client and rejoin the webinar.

If no luck, clear the client cache by deleting ang files in the following folders and try again:

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\blob_storage

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Cache

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\databases

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\GPUcache

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\IndexedDB

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Local Storage

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\tmp
