Azure Form Recognizer with circled options

Hello,

I am attempting to use Azure Form Recognizer with a form where many of the sections require that one option out of a number of given options be circled. However, the Form Recognizer seems unable to identify the circled option. Is this not a capability of the the Form Recognizer, and if it is not, is there another good option for automatically extracting information from forms of this type?

Hello @YutongTie-MSFT ,

Thanks for your response! The form in question is proprietary, however, the attached form is similar enough. Specifically questions 1-5, which ask that one of the answers be circled

@AdamMepham-8822 Thanks for your feedback again. I have forwarded this scenario to product team since this is not supported now.

For now, checkbox or selection mark is an alternative way.

Checkbox / Selection Mark detection Form Recognizer supports detection and extraction of selection marks such as check boxes and radio buttons. Selection Marks are extracted in Layout and you can now also label and train in Train Custom Model - Train with Labels to extract key value pairs for selection marks.

I have one quick question about this scenario, is the "a" "b" "c" "d" expected to be selected or the whole selection should be selected (like: a.weather)?

Thanks.
