HTTP & FTP Access to Azure VM

Hi,
I've created a VM. I have RDP access. IIS installed, windows firewall settings ok. Local access to web site, working.

In Azure, i've created new rules allowing in/out FTP & HTTP ports but thy are no working at all.

I can't found where is the issue.
Any idea?

Thanks in advance
regards

Hello,

You need to open ports in the Azure portal (network Security group) and in the firewall in VM.

For FTP you must enable passive mode https://www.server-world.info/en/note?os=Windows_Server_2019&p=ftp&f=2

Have a great day

Hi,
Of course, i have that

Lets focus on http web site, port 80. It's more easy as talking about ftp pasive mode.
I have port allowed in Azure, windows firewall disabled (for testing purpose) and it's not working
Maybe there is somewhere i need to associate public IP with local one (as NAT)

Hello,

You must use the passive mode after reboot your VM.

Hi again.

Problem was in FTP parameters from my ftp toolbar and DNSs config.
Thanks a lot anyway.
