when users tries to access any external email either via outlook or browser admins should get alert - Will have to raise a ticket with Exchange Team!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to check if there is any option in Intune or Exchange, when an Internal user tries to access any external email, the admins should get an alert.

Thanks

@Imran7, Based on my research, I didn't find there's any option on Intune to block external email access on outlook or browser. We can check on other sides to see if it can be accomplished. Thanks!

Hi Imran.

To my knowledge, there isn't any built-in features in Exchange which can send an alert to admins when users try to open an external email.

If you would like to monitor outbound emails, you may create transport rules to have the Exchange server generate a report and send it to admins when users send emails to external recipients.
