Hi all,
I have an azure VM using the Veeam server and proxy by default, It is32 GiB of RAM. When I started I had 2 jobs running. 1 per Main mailbox backed daily and other for the Archive mailbox backed on weekends. Both are storage in an Azure blob container. Now I would like to start backing Sharepoint sites. I do not know what would be the best solution to storage my data, I mean, is it better to storage Sharepoint sites in a diffrent blob? I have created a different directory in the same blob with the idea to have it separated from the mailboxes one, but don´t know if it is correct. Finally I had to create a different repositiry but extended with the same blob, but different directory within it...
I don't know if when paying for the use of the storage, would there be any additional cost to create a new blob within my storage account? If you pay for the storage used, if I do not create a new blob and use the existing one, creating a folder (directory), the cost would be the same as creating a different blob? The storage would be the same, wouldn't it?
If I have 1 storarge account with 1 blob and I have created a new folder to storage Sharepoint backups within it, is it correct or Should I create a different blob within the same storage account?
Sharepoint backups should be running daily? I know it will depends on the needs, but what would be the best to know how often and if create another blob for it would be convenient...
