When will Azure PostgreSQL Database support timescaledb v2.x?

It only supports v1.7.4 today.

Thanks - do you know if that would include the full hyper function set (such as that found in https://github.com/timescale/timescaledb-toolkit)?

Also based on "prioritized post GA" - what "rough" timeframe might that be?

Thanks again!

Please be aware that Azure Postgres only offers the Apache 2 version of TimescaleDB; not the community version.

Thus, regardless of when/if Azure Postgres upgrades to 2.x or remains on 1.x, it will not have many of the functions that developers often ask about: continuous aggregates, compression, multi-node, automation, hyperfunctions, and more.
