When will Azure PostgreSQL Database support timescaledb v2.x?

It only supports v1.7.4 today.

    Please be aware that Azure Postgres only offers the Apache 2 version of TimescaleDB; not the community version.

    Thus, regardless of when/if Azure Postgres upgrades to 2.x or remains on 1.x, it will not have many of the functions that developers often ask about: continuous aggregates, compression, multi-node, automation, hyperfunctions, and more.
