Wrangling in Windows Store

Hi All. I hope this is the right forum to ask this question.

We are on Windows 10 Pro. I want to be able to control the apps that are published in the Windows Store for my users. Right now, access to the store is block with a group policy app restriction. I would like users to be able to use the store, but I would like to control what apps they can download and install. From a few articles I have read, it looks like Microsoft Store for Business is going away, so I cannot go down that path. I cannot seem to navigate if there is any other way to limit the apps available to users in the Store on workstations. I am OK with upgrading to Enterprise, but even with that I am not seeing an option other than to block access to the store. Does anyone have any insight into how I can achieve this? Thanks.

Hi,

Publishing apps for Windows Store is currently not supported in the Q&A forums, the supported products are listed over here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).

You can ask the experts in the dedicated Publishing Windows Store apps forum over here:

(Please don't forget to accept helpful replies as answer)

Best regards,
Leon

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform.
Ok, according to your demand description, I think you need a customize store apps list for your users, in my opinion, the private store of Microsoft Store for Business should be a good choice.

The private store is a feature in Microsoft Store for Business and Education that organizations receive during the sign up process. When admins add apps to the private store, all people in the organization can view and download the apps
