GPO doesn't run script/program

Good morning everybody,
i'm trying to automatically shutdown our company's computers every day at 19:00 so I set a group policy that runs C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe etc etc.

The GPO is correctly deployed and I can see the scheduled task but it doesn't run shutdown.exe or any program (even manually)130811-server.png130776-server2.png130793-client.png130769-client2.png

I think the problem is on the account running the scheduled task (System) but I tried the logged user and the domain administrator but the scheduled task never showed up.

This thing is driving me crazy.

Can you help me?

Thanks a lot in advance

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

I would like to suggest below troubleshooting steps.

  1. Create LOCAL GPO with same task scheduler settings and see its working.

  2. Add parameter force \f in your shutdown command.
