Automated install of AD-DS role using Autounattend.xml on Installation disc

I have been uisng Windows System Image Manager to set up automated installs within my lab to make sure I have all the settings I need to have running setup. This includes installing roles on the server in order to automate as much as possible and to enhance my skills. I have looked all through the Packages>Foundation>amd64_Microsoft-Windows-Foundation-Package_10.0.17763.1_31bf3856ad364e35 section and I have been unable to find a way to install the AD-DS role automatically. I am not looking to configure it through this section just install it. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

The autounattend.xml answer file is being created through the Windows System Image Manager program from the Windows Deployment Kit. I am trying to use the answer file that I use to create the unattended install of Windows Server 2019 to also add this role to the server like you can with WSUS, DHCP, DNS, etc.

The Microsoft Deployment Toolkit forum is still located on TechNet at https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?forum=mdt You will find more experts in the use and modification of unattend files in that forum.

I am not using the MDT for this answer file. I am using the Windows Automated Installation Toolkit (WAIK) to create these answer files and placing the answer file at the root of the installation CD. Using MDT is a completely separate process than what I am trying to do with this.

Yes, I understand the difference between the two products. I was just trying to direct you to a forum that contains more experts in the unattend files. You stated in your original post, " I am not looking to configure it through this section just install it.", so I didn't think you were concerned about a specific tool, but about the syntax required to accomplish your goal. If I was mistaken, I apologize.
