Closing Virtual Network Gateway after use

I would like to be able to shut down a Virtual Network Gateway I setup in order to connect to the VM through a VPN. Everything is working accordingly, however I use the VPN only a few hours a day and the costs are too high. The cost is roughly $11/day which amounts to $330 per month for using the connection only 2 maybe 3 hours per day.

Is there a way of closing the gateway when is not in use to reduce the cost?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi @AdrianVillarCollazo-3289,

As far as I know it's not possible to close/disable a Virtual Network Gateway, you would need to delete and re-create it, it's quite simple with ARM templates/PowerShell to recreate and doesn't take long.
