IPv6 on Application Gateway

Will IPv6 be supported in the near future for Application Gateways, so yes is this already on the roadmap? If so, is there any point in time?

Hello @VijayBoedhram-0774, Thank you for reaching out. Yes support for IPv6 on Application Gateway is currently in the roadmap. Can you please explain more on regarding your use case in this scenario like what you want to accomplish using IPv6 in AG? so that I can pass this along to the team and see if any exact date is decided for this feature.

Thank you for the quick answer.

We are running web applications on windows vm’s in Azure. Internet traffic goed through the application gateway to these vm’s.

What our customer wants is that the application gateway is reachable at an IPv6 (which they can pinpoint to from their own DNS).

Hello @VijayBoedhram-0774, apologies about the wait. I received a response back from the team. Currently there is no exact ETA on support for IPv6 support on Application Gateway and It will be taken up in next calendar year’s planning cycle. Please let me know if you have any additional concerns. Thank you!
