I just purchased my hp and I'm having issues with update: "2021-08 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5005101)" Once I install and restart my computer it starts the repair process then says: We couldn't install this update, but you can try again (0x800f0845). Any help is appreciated.

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback! Forgive me and correct me if I'm wrong, but are you saying to remove C:\windows...?

I know just enough about computers to do general computing, external hardware & software installs. If I do a remove C:\ anything, feel I will just trash my brand new computer. I thought it would be an easy fix like turning of a firewall or something. (Although that didn't work either)

I do appreciate the feedback but due to my lack of internal computer knowledge, I may just need to take it in somewhere as I don't trust myself enough to fix it this way. Since this is a new computer I can't figure out why I'd have a problem with the hard drive.

    Thanks a bunch!
    ~Tammy
