Issue while creating custom master page in shaerpoint online

I am following below article to create a custom master page, but got stuck.

I have saved html and css file from github as per the below link, however after saving as .css and .html, and importing in desinger respective master page is not showing and which lead to no option found when I go to desinger manager to publish custom master page. Please help where I was doing wrong? Thank you.

Hi @sns1,

Per my test, after importing the .html file will not show in SharePoint Designer. But you could find this file in the bottom of Design Manager.

1.Download files in GitHub.

2.Import .html file in SharePoint Designer.
Master Pages > Import Files > Add file... > select the .html file > ok

3.Convert the HTML page to Master Page using Design Manager.
Settings > Site information > View all site settings > Look and Feel > Design Manager > Edit Master Pages > Convert an HTML file to a SharePoint master page > scroll down the new .html file is in the bottom

1.Please check your SharePoint Designer connect to the right site.
