Will Windows 10 version 21H2 API set be based on Windows Server 2022? #1319

Windows Server 2022's WinRT API set has a few things such as AppInfo.SupportedFileExtensions that I would like to see on Windows 10. Will those be available on Windows 10 version 21H2?

Hello JGshouse,

Still the official documentation regarding Windows Server 2022 or Windows 11 is precarious, but in experience we know that most of new libraries and routines that Microsoft applies to new versions of the systems, are not likely to be upgraded into previous versions, considering there is free upgrade path to the newer version.

However, I would recommend you the Microsoft TechCommunity discussions regarding the Windows Server Insider program, as devolpers are paying very much attention to feeback, insights and suggestions:

Hope this helps,
Best regards,
