In meinen externen Shape Daten würde nun stehen:

Stefan

Sorry for German language.
I have a question about the connectors in Visio.

I have 3 shapes in Visio. Let's say Shape S1 and Shape S2 and Shape S3.

Now in my external data it would say:
Connector V1; from S1;to S2; Strength 1; Color 1
Connector V2; from S1; to S3; Thickness 2; Color 2

I would now like to have a connector with thickness 1 and colour 1 between the two shapes S1 and S2.
Where the thickness and colour I can adjust as desired in the data.
The connector V2 should then be positioned between Shape S1 and Shape S3 with a thickness of 2 and a different colour.

When updating the external data, the connectors should update.

Can someone explain me how to do this?
Maybe with a little explanation or a sample file so I can understand.

best regards
Stefan

Do you mean you want to change the connector color based on the thickness? Could you provide the detail conditions?

Hi,
i want to change the connector thickness (or the colour) based on a value (shape date 0-100%). (external Data from a excel sheet imported).

The thing that worries me the most is whether you can automatically connect connectors to shapes.

I have a lot of shapes in Visio named A; B; C etc.
I would like to have these connectors set based on external data.
Connector: A to B Value: 80%
Connector: A to C value: 40%
Connector: B to C value: 50%

TThank you for your interest in my topic !
best regards
Stefan
