Hi,

I'm fairly new to setting up my domain but i'm hoping to get some help, thank you.

Set up - 1 Domain Controller (Windows Server 2019) with 2 Windows 10 PCs. I set up the domain and connected both PC's just fine. I set 2 group policies - 1) Map 2 Network Drives and 2) Redirect Most User Profile Folders to one of the shares.

I had all this up and running last week but one of the PC's needed a reset (Computer ate a dodgy windows update, thanks Microsoft). After the reset, did updates, installed apps/drivers, renamed PC and joined the domain.

Logged in to the user account and ran gpupdate /force on CMD. I have the 2 mapped drives now but the folders are not redirected, they are still looking at the local, (Virtually) blank profile. Am i missing something? Thanks

I just tried logging into the other PC which is working fine for one of the accounts but i just signed in using an account with no local profile and same issue so it looks like a problem with new profiles.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your question.

I would like to suggest you to check below troubleshooting steps.

1.Please check if other PC is moved to correct OU and Group so that proper GPO is applied.
2.On the PC run below cmd with elevated rights.

    gpresult /force
    gpresult /h c:\temp\gpresult.html

check the gpresult.html file to check if the GPO settings has been applied and Wining GPO

3.Please also check if Offline files is enabled or not on that PC.
