When creating a new Data Flow activity, I cannot choose between Mapping and Wrangling Data Flows.

I'm using a free-subscription account to follow Azure Data Factory documentation. In there it is explained that there are two types of Data Flow activities (Mapping and Wrangling) but I don't see the option to choose between those two with my DFV2 resource. I'm adding two snapshots to show that Data Factory version is V2 [1] and the options I see when creating a Data Flow activity (nothing about the two types mentioned above) [2].

Any idea what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Hi @AlbaDazLen-7161 ,

You can create a power query flow (previous called: wrangling data flow) by following these steps.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.

Thanks a lot Thomas for your answer. I guess that means that documentation is not fully updated, and that "Mapping Data Flow" is the default option now when we select just "Data Flow"...?

Thanks again.

That is correct. You can find the power query activity in the last option of all the activities:
