I have Microsoft 365 and Office Home & Student 2019. Microsoft 365 is expiring. Can I just keep Office Home & Student and not lose my documents?

For some reason when I purchased my new computer they installed Microsoft 365 and Office Home and Student 2019. I am under the impression that Office Hoem & Student does NOT expires. IF this is true, can I let Microsoft 365 expire? without losing my documents?

Thanks

Heather

Office 2019 is a one-time purchase product, it has no subscription period.
But could you please tell me where your files are stored?

    • If you put them on your local computer or external hard disk, U disk, these files are still there and will not be deleted due to the expiration of the Microsoft 365 subscription. You could open them via Office 2019.
    • If you save these Office files on OneDrive, and the total file capacity exceeds 5G, I suggest you download the extra files beyond 5G locally before the Microsoft 365 subscription expires, as the free storage space of OneDrive that Microsoft provides for each personal Microsoft account is 5G.

Please note, before installing Office 2019, it's recommedned to uninstall Microsoft 365 apps completely via uninstall support tool first.

O365 is not currently supported here on Q&A. The product group for Office 365 actively monitors questions over at
