Exchange namespace design,outlook anywhere

Hello,

single Exchange 2013 CU23.
Client connections RPC/HTTP(outlook anywhere)
outlook anywhere names:
- Internal: exchangeservername.domain.local
- External: does not exist

I need to change outlook anywhere internal domain name from exchangeservername.domain.local to webmail.domain.com
and add external outlook anywhere name webmail.domain.com

If I change internal outlook anywhere address does outlook clients automatically connects to their mailboxes?

Thank you

Yes, ensure the certificate applied to IIS is a 3rd party certificate and has a subject name matching "webmail.domain.com" or they will not be able to connect however.
Autodiscover will pick it up and Outlook will use that. Some clients may need to be restarted or create a new Outlook profile worst case.
