SQL To Snowflake ADF dta load issue

Operation on target Copy data1 failed: ErrorCode=UserErrorUnclassifiedError,'Type=Microsoft.DataTransfer.Common.Shared.HybridDeliveryException,Message=Odbc Operation Failed.,Source=Microsoft.DataTransfer.ClientLibrary.Odbc.OdbcConnector,''Type=System.IndexOutOfRangeException,Message=region_group,Source=System.Data,'

I am getting the above error

Source is Azure SQL
Sink is snowflake
Linked service is a blob

Data gets loaded in Temporary file in Blob, but while pushing it to Snowflake this error occurs

  • Could you please share your copy activity configurations?

  • Is your sink data set pointing to Snowflake? Is test connection is successful there?

  • Which type of integration runtime you are using in Source and Sink linked services?

pls find details below

Could you please share your copy activity configurations? src is Azure SQL db(data gets picked)- stage is Blob(temp file gets created)- sink is Snowflake(This is where the error occurs

Is your sink data set pointing to Snowflake? Is test connection is successful there?yes, test connection is successful

Which type of integration runtime you are using in Source and Sink linked services?for SRC- AutoResolveIntegrationRuntim
for target- i tried with both AutoResolveIntegrationRuntim and selfhosted, it doesnt work..



If i use ODBC connector pointing to SF , it works fine. But with the Snowflake linkedservice it gives me this error

Yes. Test connection is successful.

Which type of integration runtime you are using in Source and Sink linked services?

Auto Ressolve Integration Runtime.

Note: We are facing the same issue while copying from blob/postgresql to snowflake

This may be happening because of large dataset? Could you please feel free to raise it as new question to dig more into this?
