As the title suggests, I want to create an extension program and install it as a crx file after expanding the pack, but it is not activated. Is it possible to forcibly set this part as a registry setting or policy editor to allow it? If it is allowed, I would appreciate it if you could provide a solution.

Hi @andy201043-1507

Do you want to active the .crx file extension you install in Edge?
If so, you can try to set this policy: ExtensionInstallAllowlist. You can enable this policy and set the extension ID you want to active in it.

It hasn't been resolved yet. To activate the policy, the policy editor does not show a path to 'Allow specific extension to be installed'. How can I get into that path?

Hi @andy201043-1507

Have you installed the Microsoft Edge administrative template according to this doc? If so, you can find the policy under the path Administrative Templates/Microsoft Edge/Extensions.
