How to open an imported .pst file

I imported a .pst file via EAC ( Exchange 2016 ) and all was succesfull.
I expected the file to be in my mailbox, but there is nothing. Also after a few Outlook restarts and a couple of days waiting.

How do i open an imported .pst file??

Hi @DennisvanderLindenITHEC-4649,

I am writing to see how everything is going on with this thread. I noticed that you have fixed the issue via import it by EMS, it's recommended to click "accept answer" under your post. If you still need further assistance, please feel free to post back.

Thanks for your understanding.

Hi @DennisvanderLindenITHEC-4649,

How do i open an imported .pst file??

If you could access to the original .pst file now, we could open/import the file by Outlook client(File>Open&Export>choose open data file or import).

For you issue, could you see the imported data normally in owa?

If you also couldn't find the information on owa, the issue may be related to not importing successfully or the .pst file itself.

In this case, we could first run Get-MailboxImportRequest to further confirm if the import request is completed.

If it was completed, the issue may be related to the pst file itsef, in order to confirm it, we could try to import other .pst file to check if it could work normally with it.

The solution was to do it with powershell and not from the "gui" in EAC.

Hi @DennisvanderLindenITHEC-4649,

Thanks for your update and glad to see you could work normally now. Actually, we could import the .pst file normally by both EMS and EAC, but the effective time of EAC will be slower than EMS in some cases, which may cause your issue.

By the way, if you don't have any questions, it's recommended to click "accept answer" under your post, which would benefit others who also have similar issues find relevant information more easier. Thanks for your understanding.
