Event Calendar question - how to synchronize my event calendar in my SharePoint Online site with my Outlook calendar

I'm looking for help if there is a possibility to synchronize my SharePoint Online Event calendar with my outlook.

Linking an existing SharePoint calendar to an outlook exchange account calendar for viewing only still works. However the opposite seems to be unavailable. Meaning creating a SharePoint calendar from an existing exchange outlook calendar that you can manage via the outlook calendar. Yes you can create a SharePoint calendar from the outlook calendar if you export it as a list and created it that way however it will remain in that static state. There is no "syncing" at this point, so changes made to the exchange outlook calendar do not reflect/update on the new SharePoint calendar.
This is the issue i have presently, so if anyone has any insight on how to manage/update the sharepoint calendar via the exchange outlook calendar, I'm all ears.

Hard to believe there's not more dialogue about this subject. Fundamental functionality yet nobody has a solution? Guess Power Automate is our only choice? Would be nice to know what options are available.

Can't believe you cannot put up someones outlook calender to view on a sharepoint site!!!! been almost a year and still no updates. What good is sharepoint collaboration (SHARING OF INFORMATION) If I cannot share an outlook calendar of events???

Yes this still works to LINK a calendar for viewing in Outlook. It's like linking to any other external calendar, it lets you see it in Outlook without opening Sharepoint.
What is disabled is being able to add to a calendar by sending an invite.

Is there any update on this topic? It is really annoying to have 2 types of calendars which should be 1 solid solution.
