Organizing the availability of file resources between the Office and the data center.

Hello everyone
Domain, the domain has a file server on the WS 2012 R2 OS. This server is virtual and is located on the vmware sphere. The total volume of stored corporate documents, about 5 TB. At the peak in the medium term, up to 10TB can be planned for 2 years. The number of employees is 400 users. On average, work is actively carried out with this storage. The vmdk disk is located on the storage in the office.
There is a backup site in the data center. The bandwidth between the office and the data center is 1 Gbit / s - fiber. Each site has its own sphere of vmware and storage. There are backup channels available.
There is a task to ensure the availability of file resources in the case of downtime of IT services in the central office. To solve this problem, I want to use DFS-N and DFS-R.
Tell me, is it possible with such volumes of 5 TB to use only a replica forcibly, and not the nearest server, in order to eliminate conflicts, because there are a lot of users and working with files is active? That is, load balancing is not needed here, just a replica of the data is needed.
Forced DFS-R replica from one server to another. That is, we first replicate everything, and then we make changes and only in one direction to the data center and take them from only one server.
If the office is unavailable, DFS-Name will give the name from the backup replica to the data center.
After turning on the office, we turn on the reverse replica from the data center to the office.
Is it possible to do this with large amounts of data, or is there another solution, for example, it may be just to move the resource to the data center?
