Windows Server 2019 or 2022 Hyper-V PCI Passtrough

Hello !

Our company want to buy a MS Windows Server license, but before buying we need some information.

We would like to use the server OS for Hyper-V virtual machines with PCI integration. The host PC using PCI communication cards and we want to use it in the virtual machines.

Is it possible somehow to use any PCI card in the server Hyper-V virtual machine?

I'd check here and also with manufacturer about operating system support for your hardware.

Sorry i don't really understand what should i check there. The server 2019 and 2022 support my NI 6034E card and it works. My question is that the hyper-v can passtrough these cards to the virtual machines or not.

Maybe i wasn't understandeble well because of my english.

No, hyper-v does not work that way. What you can do is create a dedicated vSwitch using each network interface and the guest can use that vSwitch.
