Failure: Windows will also prevent the removed updates from installing automatically for the next 30 days. This is intended to give Microsoft and our partners the opportunity to investigate the failure and resolve any issues.

After a startup repair with uninstallation of an update there was supposed to be no recurrent update in the next 30 days.

This has failed 2 times.

The first time it caused a recurrent failure to boot.

The second time is a notice that Windows plans to update.

1) How can the current plan to update be interrupted without causing concurrent or future problems?

Please make sure to list any unintended problems that could occur from the posted steps.

2) Which logs can be viewed to find out why it keeps attempting to update and fails to follow the 30 day block?

3) Which logs should be displaying the 30 day block?

4) If the current planned update can be blocked what additional steps would be required to fix the failure to manifest the 30 day block?

5) Once the block is in place how can it be confirmed?

6) After the 30 days what should be seen in the logs that allows it to update again?

Please make sure to list any unintended problems that could occur from the posted steps. (and how to prevent them)
