Istio for jwt validation

Hello. I currently have a scenario, where I need to call an intermediary microservice to make the signature validation of a JWT (item 3 of the drawing) where it will go through a payload.

Is it possible to perform this procedure using the Istio service mesh?

If so, do you have any yaml code examples for this?
