Transaction Log Restore skipped (file not found) - Sql Server 2014

Hello,
We have LogShipping configured and I got the following message:

Transaction Log Restore skipped (file not found)

We have Sql server 2014, running LogShipping job every 15 minutes and When I checked Sql Server error log it not showing any error but couldn't see the entry for that specific time, It showing Entry for 3:31 PM, 3:45 PM, 4:16 PM, 4:30 PM, and so on but if you see it's missing for 4 PM

Do I have to do anything?

Hi @Pds-2061,

Please check the history of copy job and restore job in secondary server, and share us the screenshot. I want to check if the copy or restore job failed in 4 pm.

By the way, please monitor Transaction Log shipping with SSMS. SQL Server instance -> Reports -> Standard Reports -> Transaction Log Shipping Status. Please share us the screenshot about the output.

Thanks Cathy.
We Express Edition so I can't check what you have suggested.
Is it any other way I can check and send it to you?

So if you have Express, how are you running your log shipping? Windows Task Scheduler? In that case, that would be the place to look for the job history...

Thanks Erland.
We have set up Windows Task Scheduler.
What exactly you are referring to look?
I have posted message we received and backup/restore log, what else?

Hi @Pds-2061,

We have set up Windows Task Scheduler.

Please check the job history from task scheduler logs.

Please open Event Viewer and navigate to Applications and Services Logs / Microsoft / Windows / TaskScheduler / Optional, you will see all the Task Histories.

The .evt files are under C:\Windows\System32\Winevt\Logs directory.
