Cannot connect to SSAS

Hi All,
I was able to connect to SSAS using SSDT Data tools and SSMS until yesterday, this morning when i tried to connect to the CUBES using SSDT or SSMS i am getting a message
"A connection cannot be made. Ensure that the server is running"
I checked and all the services are up and running. I looked at the SQL Server Browser service and as suggested on some of the online posts i changed the logon from domain to local system and still not able to connect. I am definitely sure it is not an PORT issue as i have been connecting w/o any issues for over months now. Please advice.
Thanks
Amy

Hi @AmyJandreau-8392, have you changed any settings before you encountered this error? Have you check the error log ( Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.n\MSSQL\LOG\ERRORLOG and ERRORLOG.n files. ) and Event Viewer and Msmdsrv.log to get some error details? For more information, please refer to Viewing the SQL Server Error Log.

And also, I would like to know why are you so sure this is not PORT issue? Have you verified it? Please follow this blog to do some basic troubleshooting.
