Issue Mapping Network Drive

So I just got a new work computer. My old computer's Window 10 Login was connected to a domain (example.local). I decided to setup my new PC with my work Microsoft Email. So I did not need to connect to example.local (I dont know if the domain part is important).

I am having trouble mapping a new network drive, that has shared a shared folder. The drive is "S:" The folder is \\Example\Shared

I am positive my credential are right, as they still work on my old computer. But I am given the error:

"A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated."

What does this mean and how do I fix it?

Hello @ZAS-9568

The fact that you can use your work Microsoft account to set up windows doesn't mean that you are logging into the domain services with the account, just an identity validations.

The computer account may still need to be added into the Domain in order to access some resources.

I would suggest to consult with your IT department, since there may be other policies.

Hope this helps with your questions,
