Hello, I've been having trouble with my recently purchased laptop. Typically every night that I go to bed and start my computer up in the morning, it'll have a blue screen tagged with a DPC Watchdog Violation when next I start it up. Sometimes this will happen three times in a row before I'm finally able to use my computer. Any help would be appreciated.

After a bit of hunting, I dug around and realized that the drivers for my Nvidia GeForce were out of date. Having suspicions, I looked to see if there were any hotfixes recently released for DPC_Watchdog Violation bugs, and found out there were for the exact version of the drivers I had! Applied to my laptop and this morning I woke without any violations triggered. I think it's solved!

    Thank you for help.

New laptops should not have BSOD.

The computer manufacturer is responsible for both hardware and software so that they work smoothly without BSOD.

Please contact the vendor / manufacturer for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
