DFSR Firewall Ports Requirements

I've seen the below port requirements from Microsoft but I would like to have some clarifications on the source and destination:

I have 2 file servers which is not a domain controller located at site A and site B. So I should enable these ports between both server, and do I need to enable these ports to Domain Controller / PDC also? Or just the file servers?

Thank you.

Hi @Marcus-9726,

The following blog post explains this pretty well:

I'm not understanding well for the last line of port 1025-5000 or 49152-65535. According to the Microsoft link I should enable 1024 - 65535 between both file server and domain controller right?

Yes that's correct, however it is highly advisable to configure them to static ports.

Hi @LeonLaude

As compiled, I am going to open the below ports. Would you mind to confirm this for me and is it good to go?

Thank you in advance.
