Windows 11 Downgrade Option

Hi,

PC manufacturer will release latest models with Windows 11 and the one I am interested they have confirmed to be delivered with Windows 11 Pro x64 (OEM).
What if I want to install Windows 10? Do I have to buy a license for Windows 10? Or is there any pre-defined rules from MS?

Thanks for reply.
Both examples are for the Windows 10 downgrade to 7/8.
Seems like MS or OEMs has not released such sort of information yet?

Hi @OSD-4642,

You will need to contact the hardware provider/reseller/manufacturer to check if downgrade is possible.

Hi,
They never answered that question!

The Microsoft official documentation for downgrade rights can be found over here:
Downgrade rights for Microsoft Commercial Licensing, OEM

The reseller/manufacturer should be able to provide this information, it is also their duty to do so.
