Azure migrate for KVM virtual machines

Hello,

I have a KVM hypervisor running Windows Server 2019 virtual machines which I plan on migrating to Azure. Is this scenario officially supported with Azure Migrate or Azure Site Recovery? As per https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/migrate/migrate-support-matrix-physical-migration, this is supported but for physical servers. Is the same scenario applicable to KVM virtual machines?

Yes, this is applicable.

You can migrate KVM virtual machines, using agent-based replication.

@stefanosevangelou - Thank you for reaching out!

Yes, you need to treat KVM VMs as physical machines to migrate them to Azure.
