Oracle Provider for OLEDB is not listed in VS 2019

Hi all,
I am working on SSIS using VS 2019 and have the following components installed in my machine

ODAC19.3.1
VS 2019
SQL Server Data tools for 2019

I am trying to configure the existing connection manager, but Oracle Provider for OLEDB is not listed in that dropdown.
Please help

Hi @VathanG-1818,

Visual Studio is 32bit, make sure that you have installed the 32bit ODAC.

Here is a similar issue you may take a reference.

If you are using SQL Server 2019 CU1, you may use Microsoft Connector for Oracle in SSIS.

Hi @VathanG-1818,

Precondition: your SSIS run-time environment is SQL Server 2019 Enterprise edition.

You need to have the following installed on a dev. machine:

  • VS2019, latest build

  • SQL Server Integration Services Projects extention.

SSIS 2019 comes with Microsoft Connector for Oracle V1.0
It has a fantastic bonus - no need to install Oracle client.
