EndPoint for DL creation/update/delete of Graph API

Hi Pals,

I am looking for the endpoint or API documentation which I can use to create/update/delete the Distribution List (DL) and also change the owner of the DL.

I couldn't find one anywhere. Please do share the documentation or the API links with me.

The microsoft-graph-education tag refers to the Microsoft Graph Education APIs (APIs for schools). You'll want to retag as microsoft-graph-mail (APIs for Outlook/Exchange).

According to the documentation, Distribution groups are not supported to be created and managed via API.

Hi Michael - Appreciate your time for reading and responding to my post. Means a lot.

Documentation also says use Microsoft 365 groups that means its supported but I need to understand how 365 groups can be used as DLs.

Yes, Microsoft 365 groups are supported being created an managed via API.

M365 groups can be used as a company email address and you can use this to send email to a list of people. More information is here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/learn-about-microsoft-365-groups-b565caa1-5c40-40ef-9915-60fdb2d97fa2
