Hello is there anyway to have a warning show up for WiFi when the SSID is the same however you connected to a different BSSID?

I have noticed all I have to do is take a access point and make the same SSID and password and 98 percent of my devices will automatically connect to a different BSSID as long as the SSID and password are the same even with hidden SSIDs.

How can I set up a BSSID change warning for cloned SSIDs for high security systems?

    Hello @Anonymous

This is actually a capability to facilitate the wireless roaming in distributed AP networks. There is no component in Microsoft OS that can warn of that setting. You may find some "Wireless Connection manager" tools that can specify the MAC behind the AP for user to notice (maybe some of them may have some alert for when you roam). Never used one myself.

Hope this helps with your query,
