Bank and tax profiles validated but still get "You need to update your tax and payout information before you can charge money" error

I have developed my first app for publishing on the Microsoft Store. Absolutely everything is ready to go, except I have this message saying "You need to update your tax and payout information before you can charge money".

But I have set up my tax and payment profiles against my developer account and Microsoft has verified them.

Because of this error I cannot publish my first app. How do I fix this?

I have to say that currently, the forum can't help you to check this issue, you should talk to the store team directly. Please open a free support ticket here: Contact Us. Go to Contact us, find Non-Technical Support - Dashboard and choose CHAT NOW or SUBMIT AN INCIDENT. You could talk to the store team engineer via the ticket and confirm this behavior. The store team could check the status of your account in the back end.

II linked to the chat line as advised. Took 3 hours to get past the chatbots and people who didn't know anything about Visual Studio to a guy in India with a rooster crowing in the backyard and puppy yapping at his feet. Vince was very helpful, he couldn't solve the problem, but we determined that the button that should have been available in the Partner Centre for me to raise a support ticket was missing. So Vince gave me his email, I sent him my problem as posted, and he raised a support ticket on my behalf.

So this problem is still open and I ask please, if you have any idea how to fix it, please let me and others know.
