MacOS and Azure AD

Is it possible to join MacOS to Azure AD?

It looks like we can enroll MacOS in Intune. However, would like to know if MacOS can be joined to Azure using Azure AD join or Hybrid Azure AD join or Azure AD Register methods ? Which is the recommended option? And I do not have any on-prem AD footprints

Azure AD join seems to work only for Windows 10 or Windows Server 2019 Azure VMs.

Hi @AnjanaR,

It is not possible to join a Mac device to Azure AD. But like you said, it is possible is to enroll your device using Intune.

To enroll a personal device in Intune: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/user-help/enroll-your-device-in-intune-macos-cp
To enroll a company device in Intune: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/user-help/enroll-company-device-macos

Hope this helps!
