PowerApps & SP Content Types

Happy Friday!

I have a SP Library in M365 which I am receiving the following error when I try to edit the document properties in Power Apps. The requested operation is invalid. Server Response: (lib name) failed: The query cannot be completed because the number of lookup columns it contains exceeds the lookup column threshold.

This library has old content types that I want to remove which I feel are causing the excess in the threshold limit. If I remove the fields in PowerApps, it still does not get rid of the error. I've removed the content types in the library & template, but they still exist in PowerApps. Is there any way to remove these old connections?

Thank you!

    Hi @Lorena ,

This issue occurs since the library contains lookup columns more than the Lookup Threshold limit. In SharePoint Online the Lookup column Threshold default limit is 12. And other than standard lookup columns some column types such as Managed metadata columns, Person or group columns, Workflow Status, Created by, Modified by are also classified as lookup columns.

To avoid this issue, you must limit the number of lookups to maximum limit.

For Reference: Lookup column threshold affecting power app
