Exchange Hybrid For New Added Domains

I got 1 Exchange organization, Exchange hybrid had been configured to 2 tenants from the same Exchange organization.
Tenant A has 10 domains verified.
Tenant B has 2 domains verified.

I want to transfer 5 domains from tenant A to tenant B.

For each batches of release of domains in tenant A and the verification of same domains in tenant B. Do I have to re-run the hybrid agent for tenant A & tenant B?

If there is a need to, what is the expect behavior if I forgot to re-run the hybrid agent after each domain release and verification?

Hi @LukeLim95131 ,

The domains you want to migrate, are they custom domains of O365 or also include the on-prem Exchange domains?

If they are, then I think you don't have to re-run HCW since it is working for the syncronization between the local AD and AAD tenant.
While if not, you should run HCW again.

But I should say, it could never be a mistake to re-run the hybrid agent.

Best regards,
Lou.

The domains are also included in the on-prem Exchange.

In this case, there is a need to re-run right? What happens if I didn't re-run?

Hi @LukeLim95131 ,

Maybe some mail flow issues, sorry since I have never do such tests, so I could only give you some suggestions based on my knowledges. And as I said, re-run the HCW could make it more comfortable and reduce your concerns:)

Best regards,
Lou
