license transfer microsoft teams

Hi,
we have only one licence for oganizing webinars and live events in our company. Now we scheduled an event some time ago with me as organizer. Unfortuntely, I cannot not host this event.
The question: What happens with my event when my licence is removed and assigned to another colleague? Is the event still valid for participants? (There are a lot registered already) Or will it be deleted for them and we need to set-up a new one?

Which license do you have?

According to your description, it seems that there is only one valid user in your organization. If so, your colleague cannot start the Live event in your scenario. The colleague who is assigned the license should create a new meeting.
