I've an excel with few columns containing data with - as separator and that needs to be changed into _. For instance, column A has data like this app-123 in cell 1 and cell 2, anc-123-xyz amd cell 3 abg-56d. These - should be replaced with _ using powershell.
I've 3 columns with such data. There are blanks in few cells as well.

On these values, 2nd requirement is I should do text to columns functionality using powershell.

Can any one help me with such information to proceed

Does the spreadsheet contain only data? Or does it also contain formulas? Is there formatting (other than the default) applied to cells?

Assuming only data, no formulas, and no formatting, you can export the data from Excel into a CSV file. Import the CSV into PowerShell, make your modifications, and export the result to another CSV. Then use Excel to import the modified data.
