Is the list of compatible processors on the win11 update page the final and definite list, or will more be added as time goes on. Tried to upgrade and told the only reason why I couldn't was that my intel core i5 6400 T @ 2.2ghz not on the list. This meets the 1ghz min requirement on the update site so should be able to run it. Its only 4 years old as well.

AFAIK, the list is final. Microsoft added only 3 models from 7th generation Intel processors to the initial list.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your question.

Recently the integrity check application has been undergoing updates to further expand the number of devices compatible with windows 11. It is right that some of the processors considered old were not being recommended for using windows 11, however this has been changed often.

So, you shouldn't worry, as much as it doesn't seem to be "compatible" now, it will soon be, with the windows 11 integrity updates.

Also, I recommend that you post your question on the windows 11 forum
